The Fairchance Firemens Ambulance Co. was established on December 22, 2000.
The Fairchance Vol. Fire Dept. decided to establish there own Ambulance Co. when
Laurel Ambulance went out of business in our area. The Fire Dept. had there own
ambulance years before and was proud to re-open there own ambulance service to
best serve the residents of Fairchance Borough, Georges Township, Smithfield
Borough, Parts of Nicholson and Springhill Townships. Since our establishment we
have provided both Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support ambulances to
our community 24 hrs. a day 7 days a week. We hope that we will serve our
community and friends for many more years to come.

fire department. There is not much more I know about the Fire Departments history
